Metered Parking Will Be Reinstated on Saturday , February 28th

Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners would like to thank our residents for their patience and cooperation following this week’s major blizzard.

Please be advised that metered parking will be reinstated on Saturday , February 28th and will be once again enforced.

At this time, alternate side parking remains suspended until further notice to allow crews to continue cleanup efforts where needed.

Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners would like to remind residents that snow removal operations along Bergenline Avenue will begin at 4:00 PM today, Monday, February 23. These efforts will be carried out by our dedicated Public Works and Police teams.

NO PARKING ALLOWED ON BERGENLINE

To ensure the work can be completed safely and efficiently, we kindly ask residents to avoid traveling on the roadway during this time. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

The storm is underway, and the New Jersey State Police have issued a STATEWIDE TRAVEL BAN effective 9:00 PM tonight through 7:00 AM Monday.

This restriction applies to ALL Interstate, State, County, and municipal roadways throughout New Jersey**.

Road conditions are hazardous. Limiting travel during this period helps emergency responders and snow removal crews operate safely and efficiently.
