Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners are proud to support the West New York Public Library’s “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Program 2026!
This exciting community initiative encourages children, teens, and families to explore the joy of reading through creative activities, weekly challenges, storytelling adventures, art workshops, treasure hunts, mentoring programs, and more.
From June 29 through August 7, participants will have the opportunity to discover new stories, build daily reading habits, and enjoy fun educational experiences all summer long.
Registration opens June 15, with a final community celebration and awards event taking place on August 14. Join us as we inspire curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning throughout our community!
