State of Emergency – Blizzard Expected to Impact West New York

🚨 State of Emergency Declared in New Jersey 🚨

Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners want to make residents aware a blizzard is expected to impact West New York, bringing heavy snow, strong winds, and dangerous conditions. New Jersey has declared a state of emergency.

·      Street Sweeping (Alternate-side Parking) has been suspended

·      Garbage and Recycling Collection for Sunday night to be picked up on Monday has been canceled. (Garbage/Recycling pickup will continue, as scheduled, on your next regular pickup).

·      Metered parking has been suspended until further notice.
