NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE AND PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York, in the County of Hudson, New Jersey, held on February 4, 2026. On February 11, 2026, the Town advertised that the ordinance would be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at the February 18, 2026 meeting of the Board of Commissioners. On February 18, 2026, the Board of Commissioners tabled such consideration for final passage of the ordinance and the public hearing thereon to the March 4, 2026 meeting of the Board of Commissioners. Accordingly, the ordinance will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York to be held via video conference on March 4, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Town Clerk’s office for the member of the general public who shall request the same.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:49-2, as amended, further notice is hereby given that the purpose of the foregoing ordinance is to adopt a redevelopment plan for Block 167, Lot 1.02 on the official tax maps of the Town.
