AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND § 221-2.1 OF THE TOWN CODE ENTITLED
“AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND”
Summary: This Ordinance amends § 221-2.1(B)(2) of the Town Code, entitled “Affordable Housing Trust Fund,” to revise the payment required of residential developers who elect to contribute to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund in lieu of constructing low- and moderate- income housing units. The amendment establishes a contribution of $5,000 per required unit, with a reduced payment of 80% applicable to developments not receiving any real estate tax exemption or abatement.
