Registration for 2017 Football Cheer is open for West New York girls in first grade through eighth grade.

Registration taking place Monday through Friday from 9AM to 7PM at Town Hall, Suite 7. Parents must present a valid Birth Certificate, recent School Report Card and valid Proof of WNY Address (Received within the past month).

This is another Free and Fun Recreational Activity brought to you by the West New York Division of Recreation!

Dear Resident:   

In a continuing effort to improve the quality of life for the residents of our town, Mayor Felix E. Roque, M.D., and the Commissioner of Public Works, Gabriel Rodriguez, along with the West New York Board of Commissioners are working to improve the quality of our roads throughout the Town of West New York.

The West New York Road Project will bring us new roads and new traffic signals in various parts of town. The first phase of the municipal project includes paving on 60th Street from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to Bergenline Avenue, 51st Street from Bergenline Avenue to Broadway, all of Gaw Place, Palisade Avenue from 62nd Street to 54th Street, Hudson Avenue from 67th Street to 54th Street and from 52nd Street to 49th Street.

Lifeguards are needed for the upcoming Summer Season at the West New York Swim Club. West New York residency is not necessary for this position. We also offer a Certification Class. 2017 Division of Recreation Summer Program

Mayor Felix E. Roque, MD and Commissioner Cosmo A. Cirillo are very proud to announce the following important information regarding the Town of West New York`s 2017 Division of Recreation Summer Program!

Summer Camp Registration will begin on Monday, May 8th for West New York residents, ages 6-14. Monday-Friday, 1PM-7PM. You must bring your child`s Birth Certificate, West New York School Report Card and a Valid Proof of Address received within the past thirty days (Utility Bill, Phone Bill etc.… No Junk Mail). The deadline to register is Friday, June 30th.

Summer Camp will take place at the West New York Middle School from Monday, July 10th to Friday, August 18th. 8:30AM-3:30PM. This free camp will provide breakfast & lunch, multiple indoor & outdoor activities and weekly pool trips. Six weeks of summer fun!

Summer job applications are currently being accepted. You must be at least fifteen years of age and currently reside in the Town of West New York. A valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Driver License or valid NJMVC Non-Driver ID and a valid Social Security Card are required, in order to apply.

Working Papers must be readily available for all High School students that choose to apply. Working Papers will only be requested if the applicant is chosen for employment. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 2nd.

Certified Lifeguards are needed for employment at the West New York Swim Club. West New York residency is not required for this position. We also offer a lifeguard certification course. Please apply as soon as possible.
