The Division of Recreation is currently accepting applications from Certified Lifeguards for the upcoming Summer Season. A lifeguard certification course will also be offered for those looking to become certified. Please visit us at Town Hall in order to apply or receive information on how to become certified.

2017 Spring Football Clinic

Mayor Felix E. Roque, MD, Commissioner Cosmo A. Cirillo and your Board of Commissioners are proud to announce the 2017 Spring Football Clinic! The purpose of this clinic is to prepare our Recreation Football players for the upcoming season.

Clinic will take place Tuesday, April 11th through Thursday, June 22nd, 2017. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the West New York Middle School Gymnasium, 6pm-7:30pm.

Registration is available for West New York residents ages 9-14 and will take place on site. You must submit clear and legible copies of a valid Birth Certificate, Valid Proof of Address received by mail within the past 30 days, (Utility Bill, Cable Bill, Phone Bill etc.…. No Junk Mail) and School Report Card, in order to register your child.

2017 Division of Recreation Summer Employment Program

Mayor Felix E. Roque, MD, Commissioner Cosmo A. Cirillo and your Board of Commissioners are proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Division of Recreation Summer Employment Program!

Applications are available at Town Hall, 428 60th Street, Suite 7. Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM. All applicants must be at least fifteen years of age and currently reside in the Town of West New York. Applicants must present a valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Driver License or valid NJMVC Non-Driver ID and a valid Social Security Card.

Working Papers must be readily available for all High School students that choose to apply. Working Papers will only be requested if the applicant is chosen for employment. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 26, 2017.

NHCAC Free Adult Vaccine Program Schedule - April 2017

The April Schedule for the Public Health Free Adult Vaccine Program sponsored by North Hudson Community Action is now available.  This is not a flu shot clinic, this is for various vaccines available to non insured and under insured residents (vaccines not covered by insurance).
