West New York to Host Free Flu Vaccination Clinic for Children

Mayor Felix E. Roque, M.D., and the Board of Commissioners in conjunction with Hackensack University Medical Center at Palisades will offer free flu vaccinations to children above five (5) years of age at Town Hall on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

Health Practitioners will be providing flu vaccinations to residents of the Town of West New York at no charge in order to stem and reduce the effects of the severe flu season that is upon us. The vaccine is available to anyone who has not yet received a vaccine this flu season.

“We are trying to save lives and we are going to make sure that West New York is safe by preventing the spread of this potentially deadly virus,” said Felix E. Roque, M.D., Mayor of the Town of West New York and Medical Doctor.“This flu season is very severe and as a doctor, I can tell you that education is key to ensuring that our community is safe.”
