Recreation 2017-18 Indoor Soccer Clinic

Mayor Roque, Commissioner Cirillo and your Board of Commissioners are proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2017-18 Winter Indoor Soccer Clinic! The Clinic will consist of multiple fundamental soccer activities in a safe and supervised environment.

The Winter Indoor Soccer Clinic is open to students Grades K-12. It will take place at Elementary School #5. Monday-Friday, 4:00PM-7:30PM. Saturdays, 1:30PM-5:30PM. Monday, December 4, 2017 - Saturday, March 3, 2018. Parents are not allowed in the gym during the activities.

Registration will take place at Town Hall, 428 60th Street, Suite 7. Monday to Friday. 1:00PM-7:00PM. You must present Child`s Valid Original Birth Certificate in Good Condition, Parent / Guardian Valid Proof of WNY Address (Official Mail Received within the past 30 Days, No Junk Mail) Examples- PSEG Bill, Bank Statement, Cable Bill and Valid and Most Recent WNY School Report Card (If Applicable). We will make copies for record keeping. The deadline to register is Friday, December 1, 2017.

West New York Collection for Victims of Hurricane Maria

Mayor Felix E. Roque, MD and the Board of Commissioners, in collaboration with the Health Department, are collecting supplies for those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Among the items needed are Water, Batteries, Diapers (child/adult), bleach, and canned goods.

Please drop off donations at the Health Department - Room 30 in Town Hall, 428 60th St., or at the West New York EMS, 580 66th St.

2017-2018 After School Recreation Program & 2017-2018 After School Arts & Crafts Club

Mayor Roque, Commissioner Cirillo and your Board of Commissioners are very proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2017-18 After School Recreation Program and the 2017-18 After School Arts and Crafts Club! The After School Recreation Program will consist of multiple indoor recreational activities in a safe and supervised environment. The Arts and Crafts Club will consist of seasonal projects in order to enhance your child`s creative talents.

The After School Recreation Program is open to students Grades 2-12. The After School Arts and Crafts Club is open to students Grades 1-5. Both programs will take place at the West New York Middle School. The After School Recreation Program will begin on October 2nd and end on May 25th, Monday-Friday, 3:45PM-7:30PM. The Arts and Crafts Club will begin on October 3rd and end on May 24th, Tuesdays and Thursdays Only, 4:00PM-6:30PM.

Town of West New York Museum Collecting Historical Memorabilia

In anticipation of the 120th Anniversary of the Town of West New York on July 8th, 2018, Mayor Felix E. Roque, M.D. and the Board of Commissioners are asking current and former residents of the Town of West New York to help our town preserve our rich history by donating vintage photographs, paintings, postcards, news clippings, memorabilia, journals, diaries, videos, musical or spoken recordings to the West New York Museum.

Objects associated with West New York industries or commerce, especially the embroidery industry and other memorabilia reminiscent of commercial districts like Bergenline Avenue and Park Avenue, items of and relating to West New York Military Veterans, Memorial High School Yearbooks (we already have 21) and graduation programs are also welcome.
